Growing and protecting our precious green spaces
Kids want dedicated space for parks, bushland and wild places, and they want these spaces protected. They want schools to consider nature play within their grounds and to adopt local bushland for long term science and art projects. They want everyone to work together to create a clean, green future.
Their solution? Green Lab — where the natural world is your laboratory.
A Green Lab is a patch of bush or other green space ‘adopted’ by a school or local government to monitor, grow and protect. By caring for bushland and trees in this way, kids hope to increase understanding and value of these spaces as an integral part of our urban landscapes.
