Active Green Labs

Kids, schools and Councils are activating green spaces and starting their own Green Labs to preserve canopy across Perth.

Maida Vale Primary School

Our bushland is nature right at our doorstep. The Green Lab area is butting on to our school with a lot of native plants that belong in Maida Vale, but it also has a lot of introduced plants and weeds that shouldn’t be there. It is beautiful and we want to keep it.

Applecross Primary School

The Green Lab of Applecross Primary School has many special places including our bush tucker garden, a Noongar 6 Seasons garden, heritage listed trees and some remnant bushland.

Manning Primary School River Rangers

Manning Primary School River Rangers are collaborating with volunteers from their local community to improve the quality of the bushland at their school.
